Repair rotted, damaged and severely cracked wood with this 2-part polyurethane filler. Once cured, the material can be easily carved, drilled, screwed, cut, planed, sanded and painted. It offers quick adhesion to most substrates, is water and heat resistant, and is strong enough for torn-out hinge holes, mortise and tenon joints, restoration work and much more. It’s also ideal for gluing joints in wood products as well as metals, plastics, ceramics, and decorative laminated sheet. Kit includes one 250g package of resin and one 65g package of hardener.
Instructions for use:Apply 2 equal strips of resin and one strip of hardener on a disposable surface (resin and Hardener are mixed at a 2:1 ratio). Immediately replace caps.Mix thoroughly until color is uniform. Apply with disposable putty knife. Press into cavity over filling slightly.Only one application is usually needed.This formula does not shrink or crack once cured. Dries to a light yellow color similar to Pine.Open time 15 minutes.Sandable after 4 hours.
