This small Japanese hand saw is used for scoring and cutting panels or veneer. The ' Woodpecker' hook tooth at the tip ' V' end of the blade is used to scratch line to start the first cut. Metal backbone (Dozuki) helps keep the blade stiff. Replacement blade (item #65581) 7-1/2' long cane wrapped wood handle. 14-5/8' overall length. 6' cutting edge has hard impulse hardened teeth. 0.3mm (.012' ) thick blade. 18 TPI with teeth pitch of 1.4mm (0.058' ).
