Polyethylene Glycol is dissolved in water. Wood is treated by submersing into the PEG/ water mix. 10 lb. container (10 lbs. will make 15.4 quarts of a 30 percent solution or 8.48 quarts of a 50 percent solution).For more information on treating green wood, see the book Wood and How to Dry It.
